Travel on a Slow Wave to Japan

A refreshing ambient full album exploring tranquillity, acoustic warm sound, hypnotic sensation and connection with nature. 9 carefully crafted tracks that make you travel in the mind. Take a morning walk alongside the river of a quiet Japanese town, absorbing the early sunlight coming through the trees on the riverside.

Lapis Lazuli and Tomo were released as singles during this summer. Both tracks build on captivating piano loops recorded on the Bechstein grand piano. Conscientiously selected outboard effects on the piano recordings and analogue electronics complete the hypnotic ambient atmospheres.

Ujitei is a captivating chill and meditative track inspired by the quiet riverside area of the Kurami river in Japan.

As always, I’m including my own field recordings. The tracks Amorphous, Distance and Alpha are soundscapes developed around tranquil nature sound recordings made in Japanese countryside.

Hammock is a tranquil track conveyed around a treated Kalimba theme. Drift away in your hammock while gazing at the trees and clouds above. The tracks Wet Harmonies and Phosphenes also integrate mesmerizing sound effects conveyed on the thumb piano.
