Laguna

After releasing a few double singles in the autum, the new album inspired by the cover image of Sofie Vosk is out! The first 2 tracks Golden Pattern & Soto focus (release September 8th) on the warm sound of Kalimba (Thumb piano). Other quirky instruments that appear on the album are Chinese Guzheng, Dulcimer, Thai pin and of course piano and analogue synths. Check out the latest release.

A refreshing compositional ambient full album exploring tranquillity, acoustic warm sound, hypnotic sensation and connection with nature. 9 carefully crafted tracks that make you travel in the mind. Take a morning walk alongside the river of a quiet Japanese town, absorbing the early sunlight coming through the trees on the riverside.

Indian Summer Soul

The album catches summertime melancholy in 8 neoclassical piano pieces with gloomy arrangements. All tracks are recorded on a 1881 Bechstein Grand piano with close miking techniques. The arrangements are mainly played on Mellotron and Analogue synths.

Dark and slow evolving ambient drone tracks. The compositions are recorded in one take with several analogue synthesizers and piano manipulation. The album has a psychedelic, meditative, minimal and filmic feel to it.

Inspired by the quirky character of landscapes in Japanese cities and countryside. Sounds that are yet to be incorporated by filmmakers. Experiments with sounds created on vintage and new analogue synthesizers. The grand piano is the 'fil rouge' in a lot of tracks: close miked and with effects.
